It is with great pleasure that we announce Fortress Forever will be released this September, and of course it will be free to all halflife 2 owners :). The game will release with 10 core maps featuring 6 different game modes centering around capture the flag, and capture and defend gameplay. Spread the word and get ready for action!

Server News
Just a quick note to say that, currently, we have adequate server resources to run a successful beta test. Thanks to all of the people and companies that offered us support -- we greatly appreciate your time and interest. If our situation changes in future, we'll post some news on the website and/or get in touch with people who have already been in contact, but right now we're not in need of more servers for the beta.

Beta News
Over the last few weeks we'd made a major push toward putting together a beta version of Fortress Forever for folks to try out. Unfortunately, the Linux dedicated server crash-upon-startup issues introduced in the recent SDK updates have really put a damper on things. It seems the fine folks over at Valve are actively working the problem, and while they pound away at it we'll wait patiently and work on what we can in the meantime. Sorry for any delays, but this isn't exactly something we anticipated. (Oh, and this is not an example of a crazy conspiracy -- the Linux dedicated server issues seem to affect all mods. Figured we could squash that rumor before it started!)
